Privacy request

A privacy request is how you use your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act. A PAIA request is how you ask for a record the business holds. That record can be wider than your own personal information. Pick the type that matches what you need. One request should be about one person. If you are asking for someone else, say so in the details and describe why you may act for them.

We reply to the email address you enter. We may ask for proof of identity before we release personal information, and we may refuse a request when the law allows that. Quote the reference number from the confirmation if you write again. The information officer is Joshua Roode at info@propertynearme.co.za. There is no deputy. There is no fee for a POPIA request on this form. A PAIA fee, where one applies, is the fee set in the PAIA Regulations, 2021. Do not attach a copy of an identity document here. Wait until we ask for it.
