They are asking prices, not prices from completed sales or signed leases, and they are not a valuation of any one property. Average and median are calculated from the live stock that matches the filter you choose, for sale or to let.

City coverage depends on matching published stock and the location information on each listing. A dash means there is no figure to show. Month-on-month change compares the latest month of asking prices with the month before it. Small listing counts can move that percentage substantially, so read the count beside the price.

Amounts are in rand and they update when a listing is added, changed, or removed. Transfer duty, municipal rates, and body corporate levies are not included. For the homes or premises behind a city figure, open that city and follow the link to its listings.
